Gesher and Alumni Group plans get-togethers, events and strategies to build social and business networks. Helps keep past members and congregants of Temple Beth El connected with each other and TBE. This group is just beginning development and is working hard on outreach to build our alumni database.

Jewish Book Club meets in the social hall on the first Tuesday of each month. Do you like to read good books about Jewish subjects or by Jewish authors? Join the book club.

Jewish Genealogy Club brings together anyone interested in learning more about their family history in a fun and engaging way. Learn about available resources, talk about our shared history and geography, and celebrate our discoveries. Appropriate for both beginning and experienced genealogists, the club is open to TBE members and to interested individuals from the community. While we focus on Jewish genealogy, we welcome those researching non-Jewish family branches, as well.

Mahjong Group—If you know how to play mahjong pack a lunch and join us. Bring your friends, meet new friends, and have a great time for this game of skill, calculation, strategy and chance.

Meet, Greet & Bon Appétit is a fun, informal way to get together with other temple members in the comfort of member's own homes. Participants are rotated so that by the end of the season, you should have met and dined with everyone else in the program.

NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) supports Reform youth at a synagogue level. TBE’s NFTY-affiliated youth group BETY (Beth El Temple Youth) for grades 8-12 has monthly meetings to discuss activities of interest, plan events, and develop leadership within the congregation.

Shir Simcha Choir performs at Shabbat services once a month and during the High Holy Days. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings, and members learn new music as well as revisit old favorites while enjoying each other’s company.

TBE Sisterhood coordinates fundraisers, social and holiday events throughout the year, and runs the Judaica Shop, which serve to bring the temple community together. This includes the support of TBE Religious School so that Judaism may flourish in our community.

Temple Hikers enjoy Jewish fellowship by hiking the trails of Western Washington. Outings are usually held a few times a year.
